Rick C. Grayson, Jr. – President & Chief Executive Officer
Richard C. Grayson, Jr. (Rick) is President and CEO of Coffee Reserve Brands as well as one of the original founders of the company. As President and CEO, Rick oversees all facets of the company with a particular focus on marketing and business development. Rick has a rich and successful business and entrepreneurial background. Prior to founding Coffee Reserve in 1996, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Database marketing division of Maritz, Inc. He came to Maritz via the acquisition of The Telecenter, a database-marketing firm he co-founded in the 1987. Rick is also a licensed pilot and avid golfer.
John Nugent – Chief Operating Officer
John Nugent is the Chief Operating Officer at Coffee Reserve Brands. His role at Coffee Reserve is backed by over 25 years of experience in the beverage industry with broad leadership and operational experience. John spent an extensive corporate career with Anheuser-Busch progressing from a management trainee to VP & GM of a $100M distribution organization. His experience spans sales, marketing, operations, and distribution management. John and the Coffee Reserve team share a passion for quality specialty coffee. John and his wife Teri live in Scottsdale with their two sons.
John Gozbekian – Vice President of Operations & Green Coffee Buyer
John Gozbekian, Coffee Reserve Brands’ Coffee Guru, has spent the past 33 years in specialty coffee. He has experienced first hand all phases of the coffee business from waiting tables in a coffeehouse to barista to roaster to retail sales and green coffee buyer. His calling and love is roasting and buying coffee. Additionally, John developed a sophisticated palate and has been designated a ‘Super Taster’ based on sensory testing and evaluation by the Specialty Coffee Association. He is a Certified “Q” Cupper, a volunteer of the Coffee Corps and the Training Committee of the SCAA.
Ted Pearson – Director of Business Development
Ted joined Coffee Reserve in April 2012 as Director of Business Development. He is a beverage sales veteran with vast retail and foodservice experience managing national chain accounts and distributors. Ted has a track record of building brands and growing volume that stretches 28 years in the coffee, beer and wine industries. He is skilled at understanding the beverage consumer, accessing his customers’ needs while providing superior customer support and building long lasting partnerships based on mutual trust. Ted, his wife and three boys in live in Gilbert.
Chris Marsitto - Roast Master
Chris has been with Coffee Reserve since 2002 and has been roasting great tasting coffees for the last 15 years. He is a member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Roaster’s Guild. The Roasters Guild is a trade guild of the Specialty Coffee Association of America consisting of specialty roasters dedicated to the craft of roasting superior coffees. He has trained under 2 world renowned roasters. Chris is a graduate of Northern Arizona University.
Debbie Teichmann – Account Executive
In March, 2010, Debbie proudly celebrates 30 years in the Coffee Industry. Debbie moved to Arizona in 1980, and she and 2 partners built and ran Arizona’s largest OCS Company until its sale in 1996. Debbie joined Vend Source Distribution as their OCS Division Specialist and was instrumental in increasing both coffee and vending sales from $24 million to $40 million dollars in 6 years. In 1999, Debbie was awarded the Vendor of the Year Award from the City of Phoenix Blind Enterprise Program. Debbie happily joined the Coffee Reserve Family in 2002 and loves selling great quality coffees and helping companies market their businesses.
Coffee Reserve brings wholesale coffee and tea to food service distributors, office coffee service, coffee houses, restaurants and hotels.
